I keep coming back to this place for my stay because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, free parking, bar/lounge, restaurant, welcome drink, coffee shop. The staff even helped me find a car service when I first stayed here. Perfect for a romantic escape.

We stayed at this hotel for six days and it was perfect for our touring needs. The central location made it easy to find and convenient for autobahn connections. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. The bathroom was fantastic, with one of the best showers I've experienced. The evening meals were delicious and reasonably priced, and the bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable.

The room, bed, bathroom were mind-blowing, plenty of space, towels and accessories provided. Secure safe in wardrobe with personalized code. Super quiet surroundings just outside the old town, next to an access gate! The beer garden and outside restaurant offer jaw-droppingly good beer at excellent prices. The picturesque old town boasts original buildings and a variety of restaurants. This hotel offers top-notch quality for a relatively cheap price.

This place is conveniently located close to the center of town, making it easy for us to explore the beautiful sights and attractions. We loved being able to walk to the historic center within just a few minutes. Additionally, its proximity to the Autobahn made it a great choice for us as we were traveling from north to south. The staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that all our needs were met. The service, including room service and housekeeping, was top-notch. We were also impressed with the range of amenities available, such as the terrace and the soundproofed rooms, which added to our comfort during our stay.

The decoration at Engelkeller was charming and had a cozy feel, reminding me of my grandmother's house. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxed conversations with other guests. As a senior, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel. The entrance was level with the ground, and there were no steps to navigate. It made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay.

I would have loved to see a wellness center or spa available for seniors to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The children working there were friendly and helpful, but having a dedicated space for self-care would have made the vacation even more enjoyable.

My stay at Restaurant & Hotel Engelkeller was absolutely fantastic. The first feature of the hotel that stood out to me was its fantastic location. Situated to the side of the hotel's outside area where the party guests were, I was able to enjoy a peaceful and quiet stay. the room itself was perfectly clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in keeping the room spotless was commendable, and it made for a very comfortable stay.

While my overall experience at Restaurant & Hotel Engelkeller was excellent, there was one minor inconvenience I encountered. I found that there was no kettle for coffee or tea in the room.

The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant provides the perfect setting for a romantic evening or a successful business dinner. The soft lighting and cozy ambiance make it feel like you're dining in a fairytale castle.

Underfilled pillows

The hotel was perfectly situated for our city break, just a short walk from the historic center. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially loved the fluffy pillows and cozy bedding. The breakfast was plentiful and included delicious scrambled eggs. We also appreciated the convenient and secure free parking.

The room lacked air conditioning, which made for warm and uncomfortable nights. While a fan was provided, it wasn't quite enough to alleviate the heat.

The romantic atmosphere of the restaurant's relaxed setting was the perfect backdrop for our evening. It felt like stepping into a scene from a romantic movie, making our dinner even more special.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view. the complimentary breakfast was filling and enjoyable, with a good selection of food and drink. the location of the hotel was also convenient, close to many attractions and restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed in a hotel just outside the old town which was very convenient for exploring the town center. the location was quiet and peaceful, next to the church. the modern rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and varied, served in a lovely bright room. the hotel also had a nice beer garden and outside restaurant.

There was no air conditioning which could be uncomfortable in the hot summer months.

The largely preserved city walls testified to a medieval trading city. Engelkeller was a great place to meet.
